What?
Did I hear that right?
Why does this dusty, drawling dimwit feel so compelled to make a point that he "approves" of the words [which we just witnessed come out of his mouth] that he must personally assure us?
How could we question his own approval of what he said? He just told us so.
The 'approval' statement is obligatory of every candidate who runs ads for political office; the others (aka non-knuckledraggers) simply run their self-endorsement in tiny text at the end of the ad.
The ad presents Perry in such syrupy surroundings that, instinctively, one nearly hurls as the image of the lone star standing tall for all Americuns, appears on the screen.
The camera does not move, forcing the viewer to soak up the squinty-eyed, can-do guvernor who somehow was elected to lord over that expanse of tumbleweeds, steers and ol.
The Perry camp {a pathetic posse, so far} is obsessed with going for the gusto because (a) by God, they are from Taexus, and (b) they are desperate for their dude to get out of the single digit "approval" ratings from numerous polls of actual humans.
So when it comes to politicians for the love of God, please, Texas, please keep your collective peni in your panti and leave the rest of the country alone.
