'Junior' never seems to measure up

    {...   i can't believe i'm writing about this, but ...}
   For years the whacked conservatives of the USA have had Rush Limbaugh laughed at by the Left for his buffoonish vitrol and he's even been made into the face of the GOP by his own profession.
   But the liberal thinkers of the country have had to endure a convulsive parade of unhinged zealots who somehow end up painting the whole Democratic Party as loopy, Anti-American, babykilling ass-pirates.
  The latest embarrassment for the cause: Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr. {ya gotta watch out for those juniors}, a Jesuit-schooled woman in a man's body — aka Perez Hilton.
  Somehow this person ended up as a Miss America judge and managed to ignite a cultural firestorm at this year's  pageant by asking Miss California Carrie Prejean: “Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”
  First of all it's interesting that Miss North Carolina didn't get that question, because believe me {I once lived in that state which has a 25% illiteracy rate} she would have blistered the craven queen with something like: "Queers? Whut the hail would ah know about queers? ... Other than theys all goin to burn in hail!"
  I mean, Miss California's answer was about as tame as she could put it and without a doubt the only honest answer among the finalists:
  "I do believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman, no offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and I believe that it should be between a man and a woman."
  Not good enough; far, far too hateful for Ms./Mr. Prerez Hilton, who would rather support a contestant [who is going to represent the country on a global stage] who would lie about her beliefs — that would be preferable.
   Hilton explained his vote against Prejean thusly, "She lost not because she doesn’t believe in gay marriage, she lost because she’s a dumb bitch!"
  Yeah. That's really going to help the GLAD agenda ... and really endear the 'crowd that can't accept civil unions' to the rest of the Democratic Party.
  Look for Hilton in an extended stint on "The View" and FOX News no doubt is carving out a permanent slot for Prejean.

  Editor's note: After this post spewed forth, it was learned by the writer {from several credible sources} that Ms. Prejean had received a snoob-enhancement procedure, paid for by the Miss California Committee's Snoob-Enhancement Division. This disqualifies her from any pageant consideration. We already knew she was no Rhodes Scholar.
